The Avenia pole is the French competitiveness cluster dedicated to underground industries and in particular underground hydrogen (exploration and storage).
The Avenia cluster currently brings together 279 organizations (companies, organizations, communities, etc.). It is located in Pau, Paris, and Nancy.
At the end of its Board of Directors meeting, A new President was elected in the person of Pierre Brossolet.
Founder and CEO of the Arverne group, also based in Pau and specializing in geothermal energy, Pierre Brossollet takes over from Jean-Loup Minebois, who was elected in 2019.
"My commitment will be guided by a desire to strengthen dialogue between all stakeholders,increase the visibility of the pole in France and in Europe, building on its historical roots in New Aquitaine,” said the new president following his election this Thursday, June 12.
